Rent deposit

Hi Team,

 

I was tenent in one flat and I had registered agreement, what is the procedure to get back deposit, if flat owner and Agent deny to give it back.

Send him a notice to return the deposit as per the agreed terms failing which you willbe taking legal action against him

Return of Security deposit lodged with house owner will be governed by the provision of the Rent agreement. So, pl. check the agreement in this regard. If your claim is in accordance with the agreement, then send lawyer's notice to the Land lord for refund of Security deposit.
