Father's property

My father in law died. But has not prepared any will. In that case after death will property trfd to my mother in law only or between my husband and mother in law.

As per personal law of succession, upon intestate death of your father in law, both his wife and other children shall be entitled to a share in the properties left behind by him, as a right.

If your father in law died intestate then his property rights will devolve equally to his legal heirs means your mother in law and your husband and they are entitled to get equal share in his property.

Yes. When your father-in-law dies, his property will be devolved among his legal heirs, i.e., his wife and children equally.

It will devolve to all legal heirs of deceased as per his personal laws i.e., deceased's religion.
