Regarding sapinda relationship....

Hello,

Please do help me by providing information.

My & girl's great-grand father are brothers i.e (father of my grandfather and father of girl's grand-father are brothers).

I hope we donot fall under sapinda relationship........!! How we should marry. I hope itz legal.

u cant marry.u r hit on 3 generation being traced upwards.

if we start from the boy's side, great grand father is on 4 step...which is within 5 steps

but if we start from the girls's side, again it is on 4th step...but as we have to look in 3 steps only ..so both of them are not within the spinda....

Thankx Mr.Gaurav and Mr. Nadeem....Its gud to hear that we can marry,,,,, but could u plz explain it in detail.....like m bit confused as u said first we need to look 5 generation tan u said 3generation.....plz tell me wat the atual law is and where we fall according to it........

Sorry, you are mistaken Gaurav.

 

Female side means mother's side and not father's side.

 

You can not marry.
