Property gift

Sir I have a flat in surat and I wish it to give to my aunty my real mother sister. Sir so what is the best way to transfer property in her name with less fees shall I do a gift deed or registration and in both cases wt are the charges and which do not have any tax on me the flat is worth of 14 lakhs market price. The property is located in Surat Gujarat.

The charges are state subject.

If the relation is covered by List of Relatives then there might be exemption.

Check locally in O/o Registering Authority.

A deed writer can also inform you.
