Power of attorney

For authorising any person to sign any official documents of a firm, power of attorney shall be given by their company. Shall it be notarised ? If not done, is that invalid ? If it to be notarised , under which section and law ?

Power of attorneys need to be notarised as per Section 85 of the Indian Evidence Act . A power of attotrney , not notarised is not a evidence before the court of law.
