Over the last several years i have made numerous complaints(letters, note in Society complaint book, oral) about leakage from the bathrooms of the above flat into my bathroom anf bedroom. The society manager also has seen it. The owner does a temporary measure of putting a slurry of white cement in the joints which in a short time wears off and the problem resurfaces. This is a common problem as the buider has done a shoddy job. I solved the problem by removing the floor tiles, and the ballast filling : exposing the concrete slab, applied water proofing on this slab, tested it by filling the hollow with water and observing for a couple of days, which is the correct method.
