Judgement reserved

Dear Legal experts,

Hon'ble Allahabad High Court has concluded the arguments in a Writ Petition (Civil Misc.) and has reserved the judgement on 05.07.13 & it’s now nearly 4 months; other cases later than ours are being given elaborate judgements etc., however in our case the delay is agonizing.

This is a writ filed by the builder against an order issued by Ghaziabad Development Authority which was favourable to the residents in a group housing society. During the arguments it became very clear that the builder's petition is likely to be dismissed as he had approached the court with unclean hands

However this inordinate delay is causing lots of hardships for over 100 families and the builder encouraged by this delay has started manhandling and threatening the residents. Situation on ground is horrible & we are not getting satisfying answers on the way forward.

It took substantial efforts to get an order from GDA and  then the arguments, adjournments and listing issues at Allahabad High Court took over 1 year for us to reach this stage.

What legal recourse do we have so as to request for an early judgement? May please advise & guide

Failure to produce evidence: If either party, fails to produce evidence without any justifiable reasons, then the court may pass a judgment, without going any further.
