Adoption of hindu newborn by christian couple

Adoption of hindu child by christian parents Hello, My relative (both husband and wife have crossed the combined age of 85)are Christian by religion. They have no issues and hence they want to adopt a baby which is 3days old from the child's parents legally. The childs parents are Hindu and they are really poor and they are not in a position to upring the child. They are willing to give the child to my relative since pregnancy duration . Therefore, I would like to know what are the formalities involved in adopting child legally. Kindly advise.
