Incentive schemes

We have a private limited company and are into pharmaceutical retail. We have been giving our employees an annual bonus of 1.5 times a month's salary and had introduced an incentive scheme wherein employees would get 5% commission if they sold more than Rs.20 lacs a month. This scheme has worked to our disadvantage and due to pressure from the trade union head, apparently, we cannot reduce such a benefit which we have been providing our employees. 

So please inform me whether if it is legal to remove any benefits which we had been offering in the past.

Addition or removal as per your managerial decision.But once you announce any benefits to the employees. It must be keep it up as you promise to them.

Dear Sir,

We have been providing them since we announced it 2 years ago. Now we wish to remove it. Can we remove it at our will?
