Teaching women's Rights: From Past to Present

Some members, including those belonging to legal profession, may be interested in this interesting material on women's rights from past to present.  In stead of posting the matter on many separate threads, I am giving here the source link, which would take you to the women's rights from Past to present,  in a very interesting way.

Thanks !!!!!!

Very useful link  in fact i saved in my bookmark also.

This link said that "This project be gan in 1985 as the result of a U.S. Department of Education grant to create a secondary level classroom resource bibliography about women in World History and Global Studies. The result was Women in the World, a book filled with 432 annotated descripttions of easy to obtain materials and suggested ways to use them."

This link covers all  countries laws british, india american etc

Some of the indian quote from the laws of  manu

“Women must always be honored and respected by the father, brother, husband and brothers-in-law who desire their own welfare.”

“If the female members live in grief, the family is destroyed. If the female members are happy, the family flourishes in all directions.” :P:P

We r living in a democracy, and enjoy freedom/liberty, so choice is up to us that whether we want to be like “Duryodhan and Duhshashan” and continue with the “Cheerharan” of Indian women or to be like Lord Krishna who not only helped “Draupadi” at “Cheerharan”, but also got killed or ensured death to everyone who was or acted as mute spectator, like “Bhism Pitamah”, “Guru Drona” etc.

It not they, who r eager to show their curvatures. rather it is u who is eager to see their curvatures. It all depend on u how u take the things.

Lord Krishna at Dwarkapuri[Underwater--recently discovered] had 16,000 Ranis. When one of his sons Sama had coitus with Lord Krishna's most beautiful wife, Krishna gave him a curse and Samba became a leper[Bhagwat Purans]. In Krisnau[Chrisnau-linguistic distortion---read Indology] in Moldova had an under ground city extended to Romania and most of Russian Federation Lord Krishna had lacs of wives...well read a genuine book on indology or go googling.
