I need to rent out a small 2 BHK apartment in an apartment complex in Bangalore. The potential tenant wants to use that apartment as a guest house for his company which runs is chain of retail stores across the city. He is not willing to sign as a commercial lease. I told him that I'd need to know as a landlord who will be occupying the apartment. At the very least I need to let the apartment management know the names of people can be resident in that apartment.
I am trying to understand what laws govern the renting out of a guest house within an apartment complex.
Can anyone please guide?
