The accused can refer to any material evidence pertaiing to the case or the witness during cross examination, if the witness admits the document then it will be marked as an exhibit otherwise court will reject the evidence

Yes accused can refer any relevant and material evidence pertaining to the case during prosecution and defence evidence .
