when the general public thinks yes, the reforms are immediately required but the judiciary does not even acknowledge that there is problem.

There has been/is an urgent need for reforms in judicial appointments. This is no secret, and such surveys do not infuse more "Oomph" into this need: it only serves as a passing trivial chit chat in the Bar Association's clubroom. Is anything being done about it since 60 years of Independence?

the need for change in the appointment has been felt for long but no one take the necessary steps forward because those who have to change the system are the prime beneficiary. as the uncles and aunts sitting at the apex level let their relatives through d appointments though many meritorious candidate pay cost due to these high approach candidates. judiciary is a very important machinery and only those who have all the qualities to be a judge should be siting as the Hon'ble judges.
