Withdrawn of resignation

My friendhave worked in  psu as a probationer then resigned after one month notice period. but could not get relieving order in that period hence on expiry of notice period he left the office and waited at home. after 2 months he joined central govt organisation and after working there for 3 months he  resigned and got relieved . when he ame back he came to know that psu has not accepted his resignation till now. so he want to withdraw his resignation but gap will be counted as extraordinary leave for the period in which he had served central govt. what should be advice to him? please suggest some remedies to his career

The past employer is being generous.

During these 3 months the employee has worked elsewhere.

What is the other option than to treat these 3 months as on Extra Ordinary leave (without pay)?

A few months of employment with many employers is seen as Bad by most of the recruiters.

Pls advice your friend to inquire about the establishment in detail before joining and join after getting fully satisfied that it is worth joining.

i m not clear about the reason but may be he cud not get that much salary in central govt as he got in psu or may be any other reason but if he now joins and previous employer grant him extraordinary leave then it will become a case of two jobs running simultaneously. so i think he should not join his previous job. wat you say sir
