Why the lady carrying Balance --Blindfolded ?

The JUSTICE lady carrying a balance can be understood that it will keep a balance and would never be partial while judging but I am unable to understand why she is blindfolded ?

We judge things with all our senses,if any sense is lost/impaired , it may become difficult to judge things properly,in other words if our senses impaired ,our judgement might be impaired.

If that lady judges better while blindfolded ,why not all the judges are blindfolded while judging so that they may judge better ?

And how is she supposed to read the scales if she is blind?

Is she carrying the sword also,if yes--Is it right to blindfold someone with a sword?....

Please contribute but perhaps better with open eyes, not blindfolded like that lady, otherwise typing might be impaired ?

Since the law is blind means it cannot see the incidence, even not allowed to see, only is allowed to hear. That is why it is said hearing of the suit is going on.

But this is going against the popular saying “Seeing is believing.”

Balance indicates that when there is balance of material on record no judgment can be passed. Once balance tilt in favour of someone then only judgment can be passed.

But what I have perceived is that the prevailing ‘Kanoon’ (Law) is not only ‘Andha’ (blind), but is also ‘Bahara aur Goonga’ (Deaf and Dumb), ‘Langda aur loolha’ (Lame). Means suffers all kind of disabilities.

Law, without force, is impotent.
