Dear Sirs,
What is the difference between adultery and void marriage ? i.e. if a man marries second time, without divorcing the first wife, and continues to live with both the wives separately, Is this adultery ? Known the fact that second marriage is void but will this come under adultery ?

It is bigamy which is a punishable offense.
Definition of adultary as per ipc s that the second woman has to be a 'legal current wife' of another man!! AND without the consent or connivance of that another man!! and moreover s*xual intercourse be proved beyond doubt (e.g. DNA of illegitimate child matches to both) or admited by those involved!!
OR in short she should be a 'par-stree'
