Weekly off and salary deductions

Hello

As we work for a Govt organization (ESI) under contract agency which both follow labour acts and rules. We get paid by  daily wages every month as salary 915x26=23790 then after PF & PT deduction we get 21790 in hand now the contract agency said february has 29 days and thursdays are 5 so they paid 19960 and saying next month in march u will get paid for 27 days but other of my collegues will get paid for 26 days and in february i took week off or rest day after a week 0f continous work (6 days or 48 hrs)so the deduction of my weekly off is fair or should i ask my agency regarding my week off and other deduction kindly help me out with this.

thank you.

Quick Summary
This discussion concerns salary deductions for weekly off days in a government organisation under a contract agency. The original poster questions whether deductions for their weekly rest day are fair, especially when February had 29 days and five Thursdays. Advice suggests reviewing the employment contract and seeking legal counsel if rights are unclear.

Firstly it is not known that what you signed as a contractual agreement?

You will be having a copy of employment contract, you may go through the relevant clauses and understand your rights,  if you are not able to understand them then you can reproduce the relevant clauses here in order to enable us to render proper opinion and suggestions.
