Hello,

To sell the vehicle you need letter of authority from regional court or by Sub Divisional Magistrate. After Receiving letter you need to clear the loan if any on that vehicle from RTO Form 30 or Form 31. Than you need the death certificate of deceased person to transfer all his assets and RC (registration certificate) is also mandatory. A valid copy of insurace certificate, Address proof copy, and copy of PAN card should be submitted in RTO. Then the verification is done on RTO form 20 and submitted in RTO.
