Tribal land

Can i purchase tribal land as i am non tribal. Is it transferable? Person assuring me to Notarise the property then after i will get electricity connection on my name.
He is willing that if i want he could register the plot on 6 lakhs/acre.
Request to clear my doubts.
Thanks.

'Buyer Beware' applies to property deals.

It shall be appropriate to get proper legal opinion from a very able LOCAL senior counsel of unshakable repute and integrity specializing in revenue/property/civil/DRT matters and well versed with LOCAL applicable rules/laws and having successful track record…. and worth his/her salt , before signing or making payment.

This may cost some FEE but can defend long term interest and hard earned monies.

If the LOCAL rules/laws do not permit sale of tribal land to non tribal and/or without permission from designated LOCAL authority the said electricity connection or even registry may not fetch you any relief and you may be entangled in unnecessary litigation and you may waste your money.

One should not fall for such allurements from unscrupulous IT’s and entities.

Become properly informed about applicable LOCAL/state rules/laws/T&C with such lands first.

The best approach is to approach a LOCAL counsel as already suggested above.
