Hii my father resides in a pagdi building in Mumbai. The landlord is willing to redevelop the building. Can the father transfer the tenancy right to the married daughter for purpose of redevelopment. Father have only two daughters no son. Will the landlord approve the same ?

Your father can very well transfer the tenancy rights to his daughter but he may directed by the landlord to pay some percentage of consideration amount towards this transfer of property after which he may give NOC
