transfer of case.

I would like to know if a property case can be transferred from one state to another on the basis of health problems. my mother is a senior citizen n does not keep well so it becomes difficult for her to travel from gujarat to u.p.

Property case only if the property in question have both the jurisdiction means the property in issue is situated at both places.

Only Supreme Court of India can transfer u/s 25 of CPC any suit,appeal or other proceedings on reasonable ground and not on general ground

¹[25. Power of Supreme Court to transfer suits, etc.

(1) On the application of a party, and after notice to the parties, and after hearing such of them as desire to be heard, the Supreme Court may, at any stage, if satisfied that an order under this section is expedient for the ends of justice, direct that any suit, appeal or other proceeding be transferred from a High Court or other Civil Court in one State to a High Court or other Civil Court in any other State.
