To inform department before appearing for u.p.s.c exam

sir i want to know what  is procedure for acknowledging our organisation before appearing for u.p.s.c exam

currently i am a central govt. employee (nuclear power corporation of india limited).

i am going to write u.p.s.c -2013 . is it required to intimate our concerned organisation before appearing for exam?

if they refused my application regarding intimation . what i can do ?

what is u.p.s.c  law reagrding this.

if i failed to inform my concerned department . what u.p.s,c can take action?

Normally any govt. employee has to submit the applications through proper channel. The UPSC application has to be sent thrugh your office.

No please read UPSC advsitisement. AS per DOPT instructions the applications to UPSC are not to be sent throught  prooper channel. It is your liability to inform the deptt.  It is for them to write to UPSC within one month if they have objection.

 

Please do check if your org is PSU and the provision I believe applie to PSU as well. UPSC advertisemetn are very very clear on all conditions. read it.
