Termination on gross moral misconduct

I am employed as a teacher in a school for the last 7 years. My employer has falsely accused me of moral misconduct and served a show- cause notice to me. I fear that the enquiry will be done by biased persons and I will be suspended during the enquiry which may take years. Should I hire an advocate now, or should I wait for the enquiry to conclude ?

First you may have to submit a reply to the show cause notice.

For replying to the show cause itself, it will be better, if you consult a lawyer, discuss the matter in detail, take his help.  Yes, it will involve expenditure.  But, itis worth spending.

It’s impossible to suggest anything workable without knowing the facts and context of the circumstances that led up to them having to serve such a notice.
Whatever the situation has been, you’ll be well advised to talk to a lawyer first.
The moment you’ve put anything in writing and sent it off, then there’s no going back and you will be held liable in some way.
