Mismatch name

Yes - this initial mismatch *will create a problem* in government job document verification. For SSC, UPSC, State PSC, Police, Banks, almost all verification officers treat father's name mismatch as a discrepancy. M. Govindappa vs T. Govindappa is not considered a small spelling mistake, it's considered two different persons because the initial is different.

Get a Correction in Your Educational Certificates (Permanent solution)* Since the mistake is from school side: - Write an application to your School Headmaster / DEO - Attach Father's Aadhaar, Voter ID, Ration card as proof of correct name - Request correction of father's name from M. Govindappa to T. Govindappa in your school records and 10th/12th board records. For SSC Board (Telangana/Andhra): You need to apply through your school to the Board for name correction with affidavit + newspaper publication. 

*3. For extra safety if you have time - Two newspaper publication + Gazette* If you are going for Central Govt jobs, some departments ask for: - One affidavit - Paper publication in 2 newspapers (one English, one Telugu) stating name change/correction - Gazette notification - optional but strongest proof What to carry for document verification

 1. Original educational certificates (even with M. Govindappa)

2. Father's original Aadhaar, Voter ID, Ration card 

3. *Notarized Affidavit (Same Person)* 

4. If you corrected - Corrected certificate / Board proceedings 

5. Newspaper copies if done Do not try to correct your father's Aadhaar to M. Govindappa just to match your certificates. Aadhaar, Voter ID are his primary IDs. Correct YOUR records to match HIS ID proof, which is T. Govindappa. That is the legally correct way. >
