Sir i have completed my ssc in 2004, 2 years back i realised that my name is printed shivkumar instead of shivakumar , the letter 'a' is missed in my MEMO. after ssc remaining all certificates are correct name. Sir Janardhan reddy garu as per your advise iam approached to my school HM, he said SSC records are not available now to give you any letter. & my school is govt school. he advised me that to go ssc board & there meet any consultancy person & give money to him, he wll finish your work so. is it believable sir? what to do sir?

It is a clerical mistake which can be rectified by the authorities by comparing to the previous records.  Move an application in writing and obtain their rely if they are refusing to do so, then you may approach court of law with a declaration suit impleading the authorities as defendant and get direction from court to correct/rectify the same.
