I was working for an organization (BPO), and they terminated my services due to loss of clients. (Salary is counted 1st through 30th of the month in this organization. They gave payment in lieu of the notice period). Now, they paid me 15 days working PLUS (+) 1-month severance payment. Eg, Termination on September 15, 2021 (Sept 1 through Sept 15), so 15 days of September working PLUS 1-month severance payment. The 1-month severance payment is correct, but should they not be giving me entire month September payment, according to Indian labour laws? Dear members, please advise.
