Service Tax

In MNC or when parties raising BULK invoices they are not signed manually.

Instead of that the printed statement as This is system generated report and No signature required.

If we use this statement do we get any problem while remitting service tax and the customer while claiming

service tax .

Please give us the solution

Thanks

N.Muthusamy.

There is no problem as long as such transactions are backed by a written agreement betwee the parties.

What are the other ways of claiming service tax ?

Since we are signed manually all our invoices and send it to customers.

Can we include the statement "No signature required. This is system generated report"

and stop manual signature.

Is there any rule or law regarding this problem.

Thanks

Yes you may include those words "No signature required. This is system generated report" and since each invoice is distinctly numbered, there is no need to worry either for the remitter or for the claimant.
