Sale agreement

Dear Sir,

After the death of my Grand mother, we went in to society to get my dad name added on share certificate.

During our discussion with secretary we realised we do no have the sale agreement to any of our name.

infact we have been living in our house for past 35 years but except share certificate to our family name none of ushas seen the house sale agreement. My dad just recollects we use to repay loan amount but we have no such details or records.

QUESTION?

What is the way forward?

Thanks for all your replies in advance.

If your dad is able to recollect the name of the bank/financial institution  from where the loan was obtained, the organisation may be approached and verify if the property documents are lying with them, or else, approach the registrar office and obtain a certified copy of the property document, for this you have produce the details of the property.  Please take the help of local lawyer who will be able to get your job done.
