I have to give a cash advance of over 50K for a property lease. What would be the number of revenue stamps i need to affix in the Voucher/Receipt?

All payments must be made through Account payee crossed cheque. Revenue stamp is not necessary for cheque payments and a normal receipt is sufficient for validity.

I am looking for advice on "Cash payment" only. I know A/C payee check and other mode s do not need revenue stamp. There is no such option here..

For cash payments maximum and minimum is Rs.1/- only. Kindly make a google search and you can find out the stipulation.

Re.1/- revenue stamp can be affixed on the receipt and get it signed over it by the person receiving the case.
