If you did not get reply to your letter even after one month then you can file an appeal against this before the same PIO

Yes. You can file the first appeal against the PIO to his next higher authority.

After 30 days of filing of application u/s 6 of RTI Act, you may file an appeal when you are dissatisfied or did not get any reply thereto.

Yes, in many states, you can track the status of your RTI (Right to Information) application on the police website or through an online portal. Here's how: 1. Go to the official website of the state police department or the specific police department you submitted your RTI application to. 2. Look for a section called "RTI" or "Right to Information" or "Citizen Services". 3. Click on "Track RTI Application Status" or "View RTI Application Status". 4. Enter your RTI application number or other required details (like your name, mobile number, or email address). 5. Click on "Submit" or "Track". You should now see the current status of your RTI application, which may include: - "Received" - "Under Processing" - "Information Sent" - "Rejected" (with reasons) Note that not all police departments may have an online facility to track RTI status. You can also contact the police department's RTI cell or the Public Information Officer (PIO) directly to inquire about your application's status. Remember to keep your RTI application number handy to track the status easily!
