Rectification deed clarification

I REGISTERED A SITE IN JAN 2005, BY OVERSIGHT THE THE DATE IS MENTIONED JAN 2004. NOW THE VENDOR IS NOT RESPONDING TO MY CALLS TO COME FOR RECTIFYING THE SALE DEED, WHAT IS THE OTHER OPTION FOR GETTING THE RECTIFICATION DONE AS I DONOT HAVE THE PRESENT ADDRESS OF THE SELLER.  IS THERE ANY SOLUTION THROUGH COURT.  

PLS GUIDE ME AND LET ME KNOW THE PROCEEDURE TO FOLLOW TO GET THE RECTIFICATION DONE. 

PLS HELP ME BY GIVING REPLY AT THE EARLIEST.

In what is the typographical error bothering the possession?, if you cannot get the vendor to execute a rectification deed, make an application to the registrar to accept a rectification deed to the desired effect by producing an affidavit duly notarised, if they reject it quoting the law, you may approach the court based on the rejection by the registrar for declaring the correct date in the sale deed.
