Property Issue in Kerela

Hello Lawyers, Greetings, Me and my brother owns a plot of 20cents in kannur,kerela.We sold the plot to a person through a broker for an X amount.The agreement was signed and a Y amount was given as advance and it was decided and mentioned in the agreement that within four months the complete amount has to be paid.Its been over 2 years now,the amount is not been paid to us yet.The man who bought it from us not able to sell it further,its his business to buy and sell plot. And now,that guy has come to us saying he can sell it for 50k less per cent price cause of market issues.why should we worry about that as we have already sold it to him and its his concern if he is able to sell it further or not.ideally we should get the agreed amount as per the agreement.On humanatarian grounds,we waited for almost 2 years.I am in deep debt now and need to settle this asap. We reside in bangalore and the plot is in kannur,kerela. What are the options I have? Please help. Thanks
