We have a land property 51 cents in Mangalore which was on dispute for 30 yrs in court i.e from 1981 -2011. The dispute was then amicable settled by both the parties in the court.Now when we have taken recent RTC the RTC shows 45 cents orginally which was 51 cents.The physical custody of the land is with us but still on RTC it shows 45 cents instead of 51 cent. There is deletion of 6 cents land. We had sent the letter to Tehsildar's office who says this was done with the instruction of Asst Comm office.But when enquired, no documents are available as to why and how this was done, the documents have been destroyed. We have the courts decree which says 51 cents land belongs to us, this mutation ( reduction of 6 cents) land was done in the year 2007 when the case was still in court.And we have no clue as to how it was done.
Please help as to what is the way forward, and what needs to be done to get the 6 cents land back rectify the RTC records. Pls Help.
