NRI fraudulent marriage

Am a Indian, got married to a NRI engineer in USA. left to USA on dependant visa status, my marriage lasted only for 5 months because of domestic violence, dowry abuse and i got to know that he was suffering from chronic auto immune disease( ankylosing spondylitis )which he nor his parents revealed before marriage to me or to my parents. after knowing the fact after 2 months of marriage thought i should be a wife to take care of him inspite of hiding the fact before marriage. but i cannot take domestic violence in the name of dowry. i was sent out of of my matrimonial home. i had to return to india with the help of my parents. i now intend to apply for divorce. there is no responce from him or his parents after i returned to india, they are hiding. they are trying to claim innocence.

how can i get my money back that my parents shelled on this marriage and how to claim compensation for all the mental agony and torture i faced. will i be able to get compensation/maintainance?

can someone pls help me?

thanks.

Your in-laws innosence appears to be sham. You can file dowry case.  In DV case they may not be party as they were not in USA.

By the way why did you return to India while the dream of landing in US was satisfied. Divorce and domesticc violence cases are easy there.
