We have purchased a Room in a pagdi system chawl in Mumbai suburbs in 2009
The owner provided us rent receipts for the same , now the owner has changed and we came to know that my name is not been updated in Tenent list provided by old owner to collector office or gov authorities.
Let me know how can i tackle this
I do have following document.
1) 1 year rent receipt form old owner (2009 -2010)
2) 2 years rent receipts of new owner ( 2010 to 2013 which he stops giving after 2013)
3) light bill on my name
4) authority letter from old owner for minor repairs to the room
5) Authority lettter from old owner for getting legal document transfer on the rented address , like light bill ration card etc.
