I recently sold a commercial land in Haryana, India. While fulfilling the requirements I came to know that NOC will be required for selling the property and there will be charge of Rs 1200/acre.
Can you please confirm if NOC is required for selling the land? Also is Rs 1200/acre a correct value to charge for NOC? As per https://www.indianexpress.com/news/no-noc-needed-for-sale-of-freehold-property-sc/1064026/ it seems it is no longer required but I am not sure if this is only for Chandigarh UT.
