Name changed after marriage

My wife's maiden name was changed after marriage in 1970.
She got a plot of land by her father before marriage in her maiden name in 1965.
She constructed a house over it in 1985. The MCD gave completion on her changed name after marriage. All MCD bills eversince came on her new name not maiden name.
She never got the mutation done in MCD records on changed name.
Now she is concerned that after her death will her son in whose name she wishes to bequeath her property by WILL get the property without hasttle in his name in MCD records.
Can MCD raise objections on the maiden name and changed name.
Both parents of my wife have passed away.
please advise and guide.
Regards

She has to file a Notarised Affidavit that her name before marriage is xxxxxxxxx and after she got marriage she is being called with her husband's surname and the person so and so is one and the same.
