My landlord is refusing to change the tenancy name in the rent receipt of my shop in Kolkata. The shop is in the name of my grandfather, but after his expiry we continuously requested our landlord to change the name in the rent receipt but he refused. We have been the occupant of the shop from past 40 years or more. We have all the rent receipts duly paid until now. My question is what is the legal procedure to get this done. Also what if want the name to changed to my business instead of an individual.
