Why you want to do this when you yourself agreed for MCD.

You will be back to the pint from where you started.

(Guest)

Why would you want to do like that?

No punishment, just the presiding judge of the Fa will either give a date for appearance of both parties or dismiss the petition

I don't think dismissal is legal.     Had it been contested divorce applied for by complainant, dismissal would be legal.     In mutual consent divorce, the absence of any pary once may result in ex party decision.    Repeated absence shall result in ex party decision.

refer; Hindu Marriage Act-13B

Special Marriage Act-28

Counts 18 months from date of filing. The presiding officer may give next date or decide.

You will be losing the opportunity.

If you wish to withdraw then appear and infirm the presiding officer.
