Hi,
I got married to my husband on January 30, 2013 in Uttar Pradesh according to the Hindu Law. Both of us stayed in Bhayandar before as well as after marrige.
Inquired at my local municipality, however, they refused to register the marriage on the grounds that they register marriages that get solemnised only in Maharashtra.
Want to get our marriage resgistered in Mumbai. Please advise me the process, charges and the documents invlolved.
