Marriage of a schizophrenic person

Dear Experts,

My cousin has been diagonsed with schizophrenia after completing his engineering and post graduate studies. He had a nervous breakdown after which he has been put on medicine. After some time, he has recovered to a normal state and is employed and working.

We are now looking forward to his marriage. What are the precautions we should take while getting him married from a legal perspective. Right now, he is just like any normal person.

His family plans to tell whoever the son marries about his condition. Only thing is he will be dependent on medicine for few years but by age 40 his disease will slowly go away.

Is there anything in law which suggests schizophrenic person should not marry? I understand that is person is found mentally unsound then there is divorce. Can even after telling them about the condition they can go ahead for divorce after marriage based on unsoundness of mind.

We want to take a decision before his marriage as otherwise he is a fine young man.

Kindly advise what precautions we take in legal manner and generally what is advised by lawyers in this case.

Find someone who accepts his medical condition who is able to handle him patiently and more over married life patiently.  Find such a girl, and there will be no problems, or there are chances that you all will end up in jail, as Schizophrenics have very bad temper and get physically violent as well as verbally abusive.  All of which are punishable under law.
