Yes his wife become owner of his property if mother of that person is also dead and if mother is alive then both will have 1/2 share in property.

T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Advocate)     13 May 2025

The wife being the legal heir of her deceased husband, is entitled to succeed to her deceased husband's estates as a successor in interest.

If his mother is alive then she will be a cosharer to the property.

After death of husband his property rights will devolve to his legal heirs. Wife and if mother is alive then both will be successor of his property.

What do you mean By"a person who got registed himself on his mother's property"?

The facts posted suggest deeper issues. Please post complete facts as well the context.

Dr. J C Vashista (Advocate )     15 May 2025

The property shall be succeeded by legal representatives of deceased as per his personal (Hindu, Muslim or Christian) laws.

Consult a local prudent lawyer with relevant records for proper analyses of facts, professional advise and necessary proceeding.

S.JEEVAGAN, Madurai. (Advocate, High court )     19 May 2025

There is no uniform law of succession in our country. Personal laws are different for Hindus, Muslims, Christians, etc. Since the religion of the party has not been revealed in the question, it cannot be answered exactly. The answer to your question depends on the law of succession applicable to the respective parties.
