This is to inform you that, we took a 2bhk house in rent in BTM 2nd (Bangalore). We paid 80 Deposit and stayed for only 7 months. Owner paid us 30k and decided to deduct 1month rent Which was 13,500 and 3 to 5 thousand painting charges along with some extra maintance cost, since we stayed for only 7 months. It's been 2 months we are chasing for our money and owner giving excuses everytime. He has his own IT Company, atleast 22 houses and i guess he is powerful and knows few cops or local gunda. If, I have to fight to get back my money, Please tell me the legal procedure to get it back. Will consumer court help me on this?
