I had a Demat account with Karvy. In line with the NSE guidelines I submitted an application for transfer of shares to my Edelweiss Demat account within the prescribed deadline. However as nothing happened. I approached NSE with all the relevant details and documentary evidence of ownership. NSE has rejected my claim stating that since the account did not have any tranctsions after Nov, 2015 I am not eligible for compensation as per some clauses cited in their reply (Attached herewith). What options do I have to reclaim my shares or equivalent compensation under the circumstances?
