Joint fd in case of divorce

Hi All

My parents are getting divorce ( the case is still running in Bangalore High Court) , my father stays with his mother at allahabad and has not turned up for any hearing ( 4 dates have happened).

My question is - My mother and father have a joint FD in Allahabad bank and it is maturying in NOV 2013 with either of survior option.Can my mother withdraw the money on date of maturity has she physically holds the FD's and it was made via her PF money which she got on retirement. Can bank stop my mother from taking money till the divorce case is resolved.

Please advice us on this.
