Issue related to resignation

A person 'x' was working in central bank of India. x resigned his job as he has got a new job offer from IOCL. X resignation has been granted. But due to some reason he didn't join IOCL. Can x withdraw his resignation. or c X can get his previous job back on humanitarian grounds???

No. Once the resignation is accepted it cannot be subsequently revoked.
