Indian christian property rights

I am indian christian from Karnataka. Today I got to know that there is a property in a remote village in karnataka which belonged to grandmother. My grandmother passed away when my mummy was approximate 10years old (my mummy is around 58 years old now). All the children of my grandmother are survivors. In order to sell this land does grandchildren have to sign NOC or in other words can grandchildren have rights in this land. Require urgent info on this. thanks sbc.:)

You may consult a local lawyer with the details and relevant papers, who will be able to guide you properly as per the prevailing situation or come out with more details like if the property washer self acquired or inherited from her husband or her parents etc.
