Yes online E-filing is availed from income tax website,

what you need to do is to download excel format file,

in that prepare a return and then submit the same online and also to send signed copy to banglore office of the income as specified at website

Ans. Register your PAN details on www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in and view your tax credit 26AS online without registering with NSDL OR PAYING ANY FEE.

2. Is there any  free on-line easy package for IT return for Individual doing business? Please anwer.

Ans. Go to Google search and type Free software for IT filings and you will find number of companies supplying these software.

3.  Is there any chance to extend the due date for filing IT returns from 31st July(for non-audit groups)?

Income Tax calculator is available for many assessment years.

There is no need for any software to file returns. You can download ITR-4 in excel format with formulas. It should not take you more than 20 minutes to complete the 22 pages form. Should you need help, please let me know.

Even if the person can not file return of income by due date, he can still file return up to 31st March of the next financial year. In such a case no penalty will be imposed for not filing the return by due date. E.g. if a person whose due date for filing is 31st July 2010, and could not file return by the due date, then he can file the return up to 31st March 2011.
