Return of evidence documents falls under which order and rule

1.  You have to file a petition under order XIII Rule 9 of civil procedure code for return of original documents filed as evidence. The court will return the same if the documents no longer required by the court on certain conditions.

Order XIII Rule 9, Code of Civil Procedure (CPC), 1908 deals with Return of admitted documents.

The rule says: The Court may, at any time, return a document admitted in evidence to the person producing it, subject to (i) leaving a copy on the record if necessary, and (ii) giving an undertaking to produce it again if required.
