if i m doing a govt job now i want to join a regular course

currently i m on Govt Job...i want to join regular diploma course..anyhow if i did my course complete during job.then when i get job through that regular diploma...during this i also resigned my previous job to join new one... any adverse effect of this on my newly joined job...in future ...???
